Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 28 August 2026 · Inventory & Billing web application

These Terms govern your use of the Inventory & Billing web application (the "Service") for retail inventory, POS billing, Udhaar Khata and related shop management features. By signing in or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts & access

Access requires a Google Sign-In account and explicit approval. A platform creator administers approvals; shop owners manage the staff (cashiers) linked to them. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for all activity performed under it. Sharing credentials is prohibited, and access may be expired or revoked by the approving authority at any time.

2. Roles

Creators are platform administrators. Owners operate one or more shops and may add cashiers to work their shop data. Cashiers operate the POS and day-to-day features of their owner's shop but cannot manage cloud backups, shops, or users outside their assignment. Role assignment of owners is exclusively a creator action.

3. Your data

All business data you enter (products, bills, customers, udhaar entries, and so on) belongs to your shop. Data is strictly separated per shop owner — other shops and their staff cannot see or modify your data. You may export or back up your data at any time from the Backups section.

4. Backups

Nightly encrypted backups are created automatically and can be downloaded from the Backups tab. Optional cloud backup (Google Drive / OneDrive) stores encrypted backups only in the owner's own cloud account. You are responsible for safely storing your recovery key or backup passphrase — without it, encrypted backups cannot be restored.

5. Payments & records

The Service records business transactions for your own bookkeeping. It is not a payment gateway, does not process money, and does not provide financial, tax or legal advice. Udhaar Khata balances and bills are informational records between you and your customers; you are solely responsible for their accuracy and collection.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to access other shops' data, probe or attack the platform, upload unlawful content, or resell access without written permission.

7. Availability & changes

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We may add, change, or remove features over time (this document and the product requirements are updated accordingly) and may suspend the Service for maintenance. We work to keep the Service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits or business data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (or nil, if the Service is provided free of charge).

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time; export your data before your account is closed. On request, shop data will be removed in line with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts where the platform operator resides.

11. Contact

Questions about these Terms: contact the platform administrator through the app's help option.
